Straw briquetting technology uses agricultural waste such as rice straw, wheat straw, and corn stalks as raw materials. Through specialized equipment, a straw baler, and processes such as crushing and compression, it is pressed into a solid biomass fuel that can be burned directly.
The straw prepared for pressing is chopped or shredded to a length of less than 50mm, with a moisture content controlled within the range of 10-25%. It is then fed into the inlet via a feeding conveyor. Through the rotation of the main shaft, the pressure rollers rotate, and through the self-rotation of the pressure rollers, the material is forcibly extruded in a block shape from the mold hole and falls from the outlet. After cooling (moisture content must not exceed 14%), it is bagged and packaged.
The briquetted biomass fuel has a high density and small volume, making it easy to store and transport. It is a high-quality solid fuel with a calorific value of 3200-4500 kcal, and features easy combustion, low ash content, and low cost. It can replace fuels such as firewood and raw coal, and is widely used in heating, household stoves, industrial boilers, and biomass power plants.
Straw briquette fuel, as a new commodity energy source, has been widely used in various industries. Its high density, high calorific value, regular shape, and good fluidity make automated combustion control easy, saving companies significant energy costs.
